Song Previews of the upcoming album “one day…” Song

Listen up.

Steve arranges, produces, records, and performs a wide range of music. He always had a tendency to produce pop music, but also take influences from hip-hop, lo-fi, electronic, R&B, jazz, and more. These influences stem from his childhood but also come from the music interests of his peers. His main instrument is the violin, but he also plays the piano.

Sound Design

The Sound Design Final Project was to create all of the audio of a 7-minute film clip. The project was under the supervision of Professor Harari. For the final project, I decided to recreate the audio of 7 minutes of “Dune: Part 1” directed by Denis Villeneuve. I recorded all the music, sound effects, dialogue, and more. This project required a good understanding of composing, sound recording, sound designing, and general audio engineering.

Sound Recording II Project

Under the supervision of Professor Rod Shepard, The Sound Recording II Class from Stevens Institute of Technology did a cover of “Truth” by the band T-Square. The assignment's purpose is to simulate a production session that occurs in a professional studio. “Truth” is a Jazz fusion song that uses jazzy, upbeat live instrumentation. Extended chords, harmonies, and lyrical content are important elements in this song. Working in ProTools, Steve was in charge of managing and storing the ProTools Session. In addition, “Truth” showcases Steve's ability in production, audio engineering, and mixing/mastering abilities. Steve uses saturation plug-ins (such as Fabfilter Saturn 2) and analog gear (such as the EL8 Distressor) to create a warm and lush texture to add to the arrangement, making the song elegant, but powerful.
